Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026
This policy explains what Bluetrace Entertainment, LLC ("Bluetrace," "we," "us") collects through bluetrace.net (the "Site") and the Cornhole LED Controller app, and what we do with it. Our other apps have their own privacy policies, listed on the Legal page.
The short version
- The Site has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking cookies.
- We only get personal information when you send it to us: through the cornhole request form, by email or by phone.
- We use it to answer you and fill your order. We don't sell it or share it for advertising.
What we collect
When you request a cornhole set. Your name and email address, plus anything else you choose to fill in: phone number, number of sets, finish, the logo or graphics you want, when you need them, how you'll use them and any notes.
When you contact us. Whatever you send in your email, call or message, plus any logos or photos you attach.
Automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time. The form also checks your IP address briefly to block repeated spam submissions. The Site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
Cornhole LED Controller app. The app talks to your boards over Bluetooth. Your phone may ask for Bluetooth or location permission, because some phones require it to find Bluetooth devices. The app doesn't collect or send your location. Colors, presets and settings are stored on your phone and your boards. When the app connects to a board, it registers that board with us: the board's hardware ID (its Bluetooth MAC address), name, primary or secondary role and firmware version, when it was last seen, and a record of its firmware updates. This record is about the board, not you; the app doesn't send your name, contacts or account details with it. When you check for or install a firmware update, the app contacts our update server, which receives standard request information such as your IP address.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and send you quotes and design proofs
- To build, deliver and support your boards
- To deliver firmware updates, and to track which boards are on which firmware so we can support them
- To keep the Site secure and stop spam and abuse
- To keep business records and meet legal obligations
We don't sell your personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use it to make automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run the Site and our email, and only so they can do that work:
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud: website hosting, the request form, the update server and the board registry
- Resend: delivers form submissions to our inbox
- Our email provider: stores the messages we send and receive
- Google Fonts: serves the Site's fonts
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.
How long we keep it
We keep order requests and emails as long as we need them to fill and support your order and keep our business records, and then delete them. Our hosting provider keeps server logs for a limited time under its own retention rules. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
Your choices
Email info@bluetrace.net to ask what we have about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. We'll confirm the request comes from you and answer within 45 days. We may keep records we're required to keep, such as tax and sales records. Depending on where you live, including Texas, you may have other privacy rights. Contact us to use them, and if we turn down a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.
Children
The Site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
The Site uses HTTPS, and we limit access to your information to the people and providers who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords, card numbers or other sensitive details through the form or by email.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
